Welcome to the home of the Wizard Scorecard app for iPhone® and iPad®. You can send questions and feedback about the app to feedback@ericdsouza.com.  Also check out the free viewer app "Wizard Scorecard Viewer"!  Never again have to ask the scorekeeper to pass the iPhone®!

  • Enter in the bids for each player. The total bid will update as bids are entered.
  • You can quickly copy all the bids to tricks taken by touching the button
  • The first dealer defaults to Player 1; this can be changed in the Edit Players tab.
  • The score for each player will be updated as the Tricks Taken are entered.  A player scores 20 points plus 10 points for each trick; and loses 10 points for every trick not made.
  • If you don't take what you bid, your tricks taken will show in red font.
  • You can scroll through previous hands.

  • Enter player names on this screen. Longer names will be truncated on the scorecard.
  • If you touch the search icon (the magnifying glass), you can select the player from your iPhone contacts.  If the contact has a photo, then that will be displayed on the Game tab.
  • You can change the number of players, and assign the first dealer.

  • If you prefer the classic scorecard, you can look at the scores on this tab.
  • Down the left is the first initial of the dealer for each hand.
  • If you didn't make your bid on a a particular hand, your score will show in red font for that hand.
  • The little arrow up or down indicates if the hand has overbid or underbid.
  • The date of the game is also on the scorecard (set to the time the last bid / trick taken was entered).

  • 'Email Scores' will attach a copy of the scorecard to an email, where you can then fill out the recipients.
  • 'Clear Scorecard' allows you to start a new game, by clearing the bids and tricks taken, but not the player names. There is no way to undo this! You can also clear the player names if you wish.
  • 'Screen Auto-Lock' turns the screen auto-lock on or off, but only while using the app.  Outside of the app, your global iPhone setting remains.
  • 'Wizard Rules' is a link to the rules on www.wizardcards.com
